The first global summit of Tamil Women International took place in 2018 alongside The Rise’s first summit at the Pillayar Centre, under the overall coordination of advocate Kanimozhi Mathi — small in scale, but memorable in its execution.
Eight years later, with TWI rooted in many countries, the second global summit is being planned. Global male entrepreneurs will also stand alongside to support and lift women entrepreneurs — the special feature of this summit. TWI leaders performing well in each country will be introduced as global leaders; Ms. Uma Pugazhendhi of Abu Dhabi is one fine example, and many more will rise as global Tamil women leaders.
