Why SANGAM5
SANGAM5 is a call to action for a radically new Tamil consciousness: responsible and widespread prosperity through trade and entrepreneurship as a Tamil mandate and mission, a rapid embrace of high knowledge accountable to ethics and redemptive reasoning, and the rediscovery of community, empathy and environmental centrality — an era of new and unparalleled renaissance.
We are there not merely as Tamils, but as part of humanity. The Rise Global and all its wings will be in the forefront, providing spirited yet servant leadership in collaboration with all like-minded organisations and individuals.
Seventy years: 2026–2096
The three classical Sangams ran for thousands of years. The Rise believes that with the lead of the authority structure and the lively participation of the public, seventy years are enough to reach the goals. So 8 January 2026 to 7 January 2096 is being defined as the Sangam5 era — an invitation, across caste, religion and politics, to rise together.
The second great gathering
Sangam5 MaMadurai 2027, The Annual Convergence, takes place from 6 to 11 January 2027 in Madurai, following the 16th Global Summit of Tamil Entrepreneurs & Professionals held in Madurai in January 2026, where close to 2,000 delegates from more than 50 countries participated.

மாமதுரை சங்கம்5 நமக்கு உயிர். 70 ஆண்டு காலத்திற்குள் மனித குலத்திற்கே அறத் தலைமை ஏற்கும் வேட்கை கொண்டிருக்கும் தமிழ் இனத்தின் உறுதியினை அறிவிக்கும் இரண்டாம் பெருங் கூடல். மூன்று சங்கங்கள் இன்றும் பெருமிதத்துடன் பேசப்படுவது போல நாம் அமைக்கும் ஐந்தாம் சங்கமும் இந்த உலகமும் மனித வாழ்வும் உள்ள வரை பேசப்படும். இன்றே நாள் குறித்து கொள்ளுங்கள்: ஜனவரி 6-11, 2027.
